This article examines the quality of a kinship navigator program conducted through the Department of Child Protective Services in-home treatment services. By using the Family Needs Scale as a measurement of kinship families’ need for resources and support, the authors of the article assess the discussed kinship navigator program on its ability to meet the needs of the families who utilized it. This article serves as an overview of the kinship navigator program process as well as a qualitative evaluation of families’ experience in this system.
